TOURNAMENT TRAIL

The Gold Eagle Open

May 28th, 2022 on Saginaw River/Bay

TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Top Bass Tournament Trail, opened up their 26th season, with a tournament on the Saginaw River/Bay, out of the Independence Bridge Launch, on Saturday, May 28th. The event was named, “The GOLD EAGLE Open”, after one of our great sponsors. They provide us with STA-BIL and 303 products. If you have not used any of their 303 products for your boat, you should give them a try. Special THANK YOU, to Gold Eagle for their continued support of Top Bass.

The weather for the tournament was good, with the Temp. near 80, and normal winds for the bay.

The fishing was pretty good as we had 29 limits, and a total of 182, come to the scales, with only one dead fish showing up. Good job to all that fished, on keeping your fish alive.

Congratulations to Billy Booth, from Midland, who walked away with First Place, with a nice bag that weighed 20.05#. Second Place went to Kevin Vida, from Clare with 17,98#. Third Place was held down by Michael Sielinski, from Gladwin, with 17.72#. Andy Maier from Midland took 4th Place with 15.52#. Mike Parsons, from Clare, was just behind Andy, with 15.47#, for 5th Place. There was a tie for Big Bass, between Michael Sielinski & Mike Parsons, as they both weighed-in a bass at 4.91#.
