TOP BASS
TOURNAMENT TRAIL
**Challenge 2**
July 11th, 2026 on Missaukee Lake
Top Bass Tournament Trail held its 5th tournament of the 2026 season July 11th, 2026 on Missaukee Lake.
This tournament was named “The Frank’s Great Outdoors – Challenge – 2” . This was a normal one day event, with an added optional 2 lake Challenge event. For those who entered the Challenge, this was the 2nd Lake in the optional Challenge event.
The weather for the tournament was warm and humid, with little wind and temps in the low 80’s.
The air seemed to be very heavy, and several anglers complained of having a hard time getting their breath, and a heavy feeling in their chest. It was a tough day that way!
The fishing was good, as we had 35 limits but just 14 bass over 3 pounds, come to the scales.
Congratulations to Randy Rogers, from Harrison, who had the best 5 fish limit at 14.52# to take home the win. Second Place went to John Franko, from Clare with 13.36#, which also had Big Bass for the tournament at 4.09#. Third Place went to Trevor Bowland, from Sanford, with a limit at 13.20#. Just behind Bowland in Fourth Place was Ken Wisniewski, from Bay City with 13.16#
Special “Thank You” to Frank’s Great Outdoors, for being the titled sponsor for this event.
