TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Shoe’sTop Bass Tournament Trail, held its second tournament of the season, on the Saginaw River/Limited Bay. The tournament went out of the Independence Bridge Launch, on Saturday, June 3rd. The event was named, “The D & R Sport Center Open”, after one of our very good sponsors.
The weather for the tournament started out with light winds, sunny skies. By early afternoon, the wind picked up, and was blowing at about 15-20mph.
Congratulations to Billy Booth, from Midland, who took 1st Place, with a limit at 16.30#. Kevin Vida, from Clare held down 2nd Place with 16.23#, just .07# out of First Place. Hayden Goosen, from Davidson, finished in 3rd Place, with 14.68# . Dan Houser, from Washington Twp. held down 4th Place with 14.46#. Big Bass for the tournament went to Rob Ruckman, from Freeland, with 4.59#.
