SHOE'S TOP BASS
TOURNAMENT TRAIL
June 14th, 2025 on Lake Missaukee
From L to R: Mike Sielinski Ron Conner and Peter Jones
TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Shoe’s Top Bass Tournament Trail, held its 3rd tournament of the 2025 season, on Missaukee Lake. The tournament launched out of the Missaukee Park ramp on the west side.
This tournament was named “The Humminbird & Minn Kota Open”, after one of our great sponsors.
The weather for the tournament was a little windy, under partly cloudy skies and temps getting up to the upper 70’s at weigh-in.
The fishing was the toughest that we have had this season. The tough bite allowed only 20 limits, and other bags with 1-4 fish. We had 11 limits come to the scales that weighed under 8 ¼ #. Those limits only averaged 1.53# per fish. Lots of just legal skinny fish. We also had 13 anglers who did not weigh in a single fish. Only 4 anglers broke the 5 fish limit with over 10# each.
A special Thank You, to Johnson Outdoors – Humminbird & Minn Kota, for being the title sponsor of this event.
Congratulations to Ron Conner, from Oxford, who was the only angler to find a big bass. Ron won the tournament with 12.56#, which included big bass for the tournament at 4.20# Second Place went to Peter Jones from Midland with 11.31#. Michael Sielinski, from Gladwin held down Third Place with 10.66# Fourth Place went to Justin Dankert, from Saginaw with 10.55#. We had a 100% live release, so great job to all.
A special “Thank You” to all those who helped take down the tournament site.
