TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Shoe’s Top Bass Tournament Trail, held its 6th tournament of the 2025 season, on Missaukee Lake. The tournament launched out of the Missaukee Park ramp on the west side.

This tournament was named “The Yamaha & EGO Fishing Open”, after two of our great sponsors.

The weather for the tournament was cloudy at the start, but sunshine came out later in the day. The winds were more in the normal range, and the temp got up to the upper 70’s. No rain even though that had been predicted by all the weather channels.

The fishing was a little better than our last time on Missaukee. We had 21 limits and 11 weights over 10#, where we only had 4 weights over 10# last time. The average fish were also bigger this time.

Congratulations to John Franko, from Clare, who ran away to a First Place win. John had a limit for 15.03#, and it was anchored by Big Bass for the tournament, at 5.47#.

Second Place, went to Tom Shoemaker, from Pinconning with 13.61#. Third Place went to Bill Hurley, from Waterford with 12.08#. Ron Conner, from Oxford held down Fourth Place with 10.91#. We again had a 100% live release. Great job to all.
